By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. The Platform

AnywhereTradie operates as a marketplace platform that connects customers (“Clients”) with independent licensed trade service providers (“Tradies”). We are not a trade service provider. Tradies listed on our platform are independent contractors, not our employees.

We verify the credentials of Tradies on our platform, including trade licences, public liability insurance, and National Police Checks. However, we do not guarantee the quality of any work performed by Tradies.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account.

4. Booking and Payment

Fixed Pricing: Prices displayed at the time of booking are fixed and include labour and standard materials unless otherwise stated. Additional materials or scope changes require explicit Client approval before proceeding.

Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a booking, you authorise us to charge the payment method provided. Funds are held by Stripe until the job is marked complete.

Cancellation: Clients may cancel a booking free of charge up to 4 hours before the scheduled time. Cancellations within 4 hours of the scheduled time may incur a cancellation fee of up to 20% of the quoted price.

Platform Fee: We charge Tradies a platform fee of 15% on each completed job. This fee is deducted before payout.

  • If the issue cannot be resolved, we may offer a partial or full refund at our discretion

This guarantee does not apply to work that has been modified or interfered with after completion, or to issues caused by pre-existing conditions not disclosed at booking.

8. Reviews and Ratings

Clients may leave reviews and ratings for Tradies after job completion. Reviews must be honest, accurate, and based on genuine experiences. We reserve the right to remove reviews that contain offensive language, personal attacks, or false statements.
